Terje Landsgård, is Director of Portfolio Development and Incubator Manager at Kjeller Innovation. Terje has worked with investment and business development for more than ten years. He is an experienced entrepreneur, amongst others founder and 50% owner of a private power station. Terje understands the startup challenges and opportunities and he sits on the Boards of many funding and business organisations.
Founding Partner, Angel Challenge
Since finishing his education at NTNU School of Entrepreneurship in 2011 he has been an active participant in the Norwegian and Oslo Startup Scene, with amongst other things Startup Summer, Startup Weekend, and now Angel Challenge. Since 2015 he has been one of the founders behind the startup investment program Angel Challenge where he is now CEO. Angel Challenge is aiming to engage new investors to invest together in startup companies. As a student he cofounded the education rating platform Classmate.no before working three years as a business developer and intrapreneur in Inspera AS where he played a key roll in establishing a new solution for online examination in higher education.
Founding Partner, Angel Challenge
After 10 years in the Telecom & IT industry in Sweden and Norway, at the age of 32 Thomas founded his own Ed-tech and e-learning company Edvantage group and run it as CEO for 12 years. As one of Europe’s leading e-learning companies it was sold to Lumesse in 2011. Parallel to that Thomas co-founded two Med Tech Companies (SB12) and (EB24) and as their Chairman sold them in 2007 respectively 2014. Thomas has been investing in start-ups for more than 10 years and as Business Angel full time the last three years, holding a portfolio of twenty six companies. The latest project, Angel Challenge, co-founded together with Startup Norway, is a hands-on program to empower private investors to co-invest in start-ups. He is also running a co-working place together with Startup Norway for Investors in Oslo called OHOI (Oslo House of Innovation).
Hein Espen Hattestad
Hein Espen has run different media operations, both large co-operations and small start-ups, in Norway since 1990. His first start-up was established in 1990, a niche advertising company targeted towards retailing. This company was sold to Bates AS in 1994. Hein Espen left Bates in 1999 for the position of CEO for the stock listed company P4 Radio Hele Norge AS, Norway´s largest commercial radio station.
In 2001 he joined MTG (Modern Times Group) to become CEO for its Norwegian TV and Radio business operating brands such as P4, TV3, Viasat and Viaplay. He was an integral part of the MTG AB´s top management until he resigned in December 2011. Founded Exoid Venture in 2012 and have so far started and invested in 6 different start-ups. Exoid only invest in projects and companies where we are co-founders.
Benjamin is a angel investor and innovation mentor focusing on business model innovation, product development and customer development practices. He has extensive knowledge on business model innovation, lean canvas, lean start-up and agile frameworks (Scrum). He is one of about 70 Certified Scrum Coaches in the world. Benjamin is involved in several companies as co-founder, business angel and board member. He has succeeded in building several companies and new business divisions in large companies. Benjamin holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Agder, executive education from Norwegian School of Management and Certificate of Business Excellence from University of California Berkeley, Haas School of Business. He published the book “Business Model Frameworks - A guide to creating and capturing business value” in 2014.
Management and business development experience from Cisco, Lantec Ungermann-Bass, DEC, Control Data Corporation and AS EDB. Co-founder of Alliance Venture in 2001. MBA from the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration.
Currently Mr. Ørnvall is Chairman of the Board at Levo2, a company emerged out of Las Vegas and also an active Chairman of the big data and AI startup AIA Science. Mr. Ørnvall have been involved in more than 20 investments, mainly in USA and Norway, partly based on two years as an active investor in San Francisco
He is a growth investor, a facilitator of both public and private financing for growth companies and has successfully started multiple companies and non-for profit organizations.
Additionally, he is closely involved in developing Nord-Trøndelag Science Park and Smart Grid Services Cluster in Norway. Furthermore, Chariman of the Board of a large music festival in Steinkjer, turned into a profitable enterprise during his tenure. Mr. Ørnvall has one mantra: He strongly believes in reaching goals through collaboration.
An expert in Agile and Lean methods for innovation. With 25 years of experience from both small startups to bigger corporations, he can play an active role in helping new ideas for products and services succeed.
Geir is a Certified Scrum Trainer, Agile coach with experience in Lean Start-up, Business Model Generation and other relevant models for innovation.
Erik Windahl Olsen
Founder and CEO of Webhuset, a cloud company based in Bergen. He is also advising and investing in startup companies. Erik's main focus for investments is tech, B2B software, IoT and finance.
Thor joined Zacco in 2006 and is the Regional Director for Zacco Oslo/Germany. Thor´s previous positions in Zacco have been as the Manager of the Patent and Design Division and as an Attorney at Law where he primarily worked with disputes regarding infringement of intellectual property rights, coordination of patent litigation and IP strategy matters.
Thor received his law degree (Cand. Jur.) in 1996 from the University of Oslo with a specialization in intellectual property law.
Thor has working experience from the Norwegian Patent Office, as an in-house lawyer in Telenor ASA where he primarily worked with patent strategy and as an Attorney at Law at a general lawfirm.
Thor is a member of the Norwegian Bar and the Norwegian Association for Copyright, Norsk Forening for Industriell Rettsbeskyttelse (NIR), the Norwegian Association for Competition and Marketing Law and AIPPI.
